Join your fellow civic-minded community members who volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol all over the state of Colorado. Our volunteers make our essential missions possible. Our volunteer civilian members make it possible to provide leadership-development programs for youth, save lives each year, and help make our communities better places to live.
Civil Air Patrol has volunteer opportunities for people from all backgrounds and ages. You don’t need to be a pilot or a member of the Armed Forces (though pilots and veterans are absolutely welcomed to share their experience). CAP volunteers can be teachers, medical professionals, public employees, engineers, machinists, truck drivers, businesspeople, and really anybody over the age of 12.
