Cadets who are interested in continuing their CyberPatriot journey can attend an AFA CyberCamp held in Colorado Springs.
This is a daily program 4 hours per day for a week which will introduce cadets to cyber security and the CyberPatriot program.
Cadets will learn about cyber ethics, virtual machines, and configuration and securing Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux operating systems.
The course will also include an overview of networking concepts. The week will conclude with a mini-competition.
This course builds on the material presented at the AFA Standard CyberCamp that is help in June.
If a cadet has previously participated in CyberPatriot or attended the standard camp or has knowledge from other sources, they are welcome to attend this advanced camp.
Class will run from 0900 to 1300 each day.
This is a CAP sponsored event with support from the National Cybersecurity Center.
