The 5th annual Warrior Weekend SAREX will be held on May 5-7, 2023 at Meadow Lake Airport (KFLY) approximately 12 miles northeast of Colorado Springs.  This event is a cadet-oriented SAREX, and is an Emergency Services training opportunity for cadets and senior members so please mark your calendars and watch for a follow up emails with full details and sign up instructions in the next few weeks.

The ICP will be on-site at KFLY.

As many members elect to camp on-site, this is a great opportunity to test out your gear as well as enjoy great fellowship with CAP members from around the state.

To participate:

  • For cadets, have your Curry Achievement and GES 116 completed prior to attending.
  • For senior members, complete Level 1 and GES 116.
  • If you do not have ICUT, complete the ICUT videos before attending – this greatly speeds up ICUT evaluations. (In addition to use of CAP radios, cadets make extensive use of ISR radios throughout the weekend.)

Staffing:

We will need senior member and cadet staff to make this weekend a success.  We appreciate all your help as this event requires a number of volunteers to make it successful. Volunteer requests will be part of the online signup.
